Yeah, yeah, we are all looking for help or an edge, but here are some guys who ain't gonna help you. There are also others who you can cast off. Bank it!
Quarterbacks:
Chad Henne - Grab a low end real starter, Henne will not achieve fantasy relavence this year.
Seneca Wallace - Matt Hasslebeck he ain't. He might post a decent game with the right matchup, but only if you are desparate
Josh Johnson - I don't know a ton about Johnson, but new QBs on the scene seldom do well right away. Let's give him a couple weeks and see what he shows
Jason Campbell - I have nothing against Campbell, honest, but until they take the training wheels off in Washington, I don't see him being consistent or a fantasy threat except occassionally, might be worth a spot start with the perfect matchup... oh, he had that last week and didn't deliver.
Runningbacks:
Brian Leonard - Unless Cedric Benson gets hurt, don't let his heroics at the end of the Pittsburgh game fool you, Leonard is a bit player at best.
Michael Bennett - He is older than LaDainian and not nearly as explosive as Darren Sproles. He might get a few carries when the others need a rest, but he is not worth a roster spot
Jonathon Stewart - unless DeAngelo Williams gets hurt, Stewart is not really worth a spot, unless you are handcuffing him, or stashing incase of injury
Whoever is backing up MJD, 'nough said
Earnest Graham - Don't bother, too much depth in Tampa
Wide Receivers:
Chris Henry - Henry might be ready to be cast off and pick up Andre Caldwell.
Johnny Knox - He might post you a game here and there, but he is not worth a roster spot. Too many targets in Chicago right now
Chansi Stucky - After a nice opening week, he has disappeared. Leave him there.
Mushin Muhammed - Some might have drafted him, hoping he would return to his past, but the past is in the past.
Greg Lewis - He caught that game winner from Favre, but again, as I mentioned yesterday, he is not a prime time player.
Kelley Washington - Posted a nice game on Sunday but he won't be there for you each week.
Joey Galloway - Where the hell is Joey? Kinda like Where's Waldo. Has there been a Joey sighting this year?
TightEnds:
Dante Rosario - He posted a solid game in Dallas last night, but it is not time to annoit him the next coming of Tony Gonzales, lots of other options out there, give him time to prove it.
