Another Draft

Today's draft is a 10 team family league, low pressure, just fun stuff. I am drafting two teams (one for my wife). I have the second pick and she the 10th. I am going to post both teams as I go. Enjoy!

My Team: The Drunken Irish
1) Matt Forte - drafted him ahead of Turner and Jones-Drew
2) Ryan Grant - think he is going to have a big year!
3) Reggie Wayne - best WR left, could have gotten Calvin Johnson last pick, don't trust the Lions
4) Jason Witten - got the best TE as well
5) TJ Houshmandzadeh - needed another WR, should be a decent pick
6) Eddie Royal - could have a monster year!
7) Baltimore D - nothing of better value there
8) Derrick Ward - 3rd RB here is a nice pick up
9) Matt Ryan - good value in the 9th
10) Nick Collins - safeties and d lineman in this too
11) Jarred Allen - should be rock solid as well
12) Matt Hasslebeck - A good back up here
13) Jerry Maclin - I just like him on that team, could start early in the year
14) John Carlson - a GOOD back up TE
15) Ricky Williams - hand cup for Brown
16) Ray Rice - what, here?
17) Jason Elam - needed a kicker I suppose

Her Team: Mojitos
1) Chris Johnson - Tomlinson drafted just ahead here, crap
2) Andre Johnson - best WR in the draft
3) Ronnie Brown - will need more RB depth
4) Marques Colston - not a bad pairing with Andre
5) Dallas Clark - could be the best TE out there this year
6) Larry Johnson - needed depth, got some
7) Brett Favre - She is a big Favre fan
8) Beanie Wells - Depth at running back needed
9) Carson Palmer - needed to back up Favre
10) San Diego D - should be solid
11) Derrick Mason - needed another
12) Ed Reed - solid safety for the league
13) Kakeem Nicks - Did you see him in the preseaon, could be a steal here
14) Percy Harvin - Since we are drafting rookie wideouts...
15) Michael Jenkins - nothing to say here
16) Brian Dawkins - not bad late
